Mr. Sushil Prakash is a dynamic, result-oriented leader, having over four decades of professional experience in designing and delivering innovative solutions while executing major national and regional IT and telecom projects in the UK, Asia and Africa.

Mr. Prakash was selected to be a Lead Consultant to the Government of India on the Digital India Program on full-time basis in January 2012. His innovative contribution to Digital India has been appreciated by the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) with his experience Papers being accepted for presentation at successive International Conferences on e-Governance (ICEGOV) conducted by UNU-EGOV.

Before joining Government of India in 2012, Mr. Prakash held CXO positions at Tatas and at Bank of America. He started his career in 1976 as a member of Government’s Indian Telecommunications Service and was privileged to be deputed overseas very early in his career to facilitate the socio- economic development of the lesser developed countries in Southern Africa using technology enabled innovative solutions.

As Founder Director I-ThinkIndia, Mr. Prakash continues to provide consultancy assisting other developing countries and also the States in India to develop innovative solutions for e-delivery and citizen participation.

In 2017, Mr. Prakash was selected by the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), the premier policy ‘Think Tank’ of the Government of India, to be a Mentor of Change on its initiative ‘Atal Innovation Mission.’
